What is a Bunkie?

We specialize in bunkies, small cabins for extra space on your property. Our bunkies range in size from 99 to 199 sq ft footprint, with loft models offering up to 380 sq ft of total space. Many areas of North America don’t require a building permit. All the wood in the bunkie kit is precut and sized so you don’t have to worry about measuring and cutting it.

We sell the best bunkie kits to save you time, and money. Purchasing all the components of a kit means you do not have to measure and cut each piece individually, or worry if everything is going to line up. You can build the bunkie quickly and start enjoying it right away.

Our bunkies give you the extra space you need on your property without needing a second mortgage. Clients have purchased our bunkies for many reasons: to build extra space for family or friends at home or the cottage, a home office, a perfect view of the lake, an art studio or a private escape on a special part of your property.

You could also turn a bunkie into an Airbnb to earn money, or have a man cave or a she shed or that extra space you’ve always wanted.

All bunkie kits include:

Local to Bunkie Life Headquarters? Pick up is available at our factory in Rockwood, ON. This option requires a double-axle flatbed trailer capable of carrying the size and weight of your order.

What are my delivery options?

Pick-up: This is available at our factory 4917 7 Line, Rockwood, ON. This option requires a double-axle flatbed trailer capable of carrying the size and weight of the bunkie or a UHaul truck. Pick up: $50+tax.
